Horn Wiring Question

The horn on my '71 hasn't worked for some time. Yesterday I removed the horn pad and saw that the plastic piece the pad surrounds is broken. I've ordered a new horn pad, but can't figure out where one of the two wires attach. One wire has a spade end and where that attaches to the steering wheel is obvious. The other wire has a end shaped like a "V" and I don't see any attachment point in the steering wheel for that...what am I missing?

Vinyl horn pad/horn switch wires plug into T/S switch.

Same 2 spoke wheels and vinyl horn pads: 1971/77 F100/350 - 1975/77 Bronco & Econoline (except 1975/77 F100/350 & Econoline with Speed Control).

Ranger XLT/Bronco Sport/Econoline Chateau have a walnut wood grain pad, all the others have a black camera case finish pad.

Carpenter has both these pads, I would assume the other repro parts sells do too. Carpenter has also repro'd the steering wheel in black only.
