Rear end differential change

Is it possible to change the gearing in my 08 F350 dually from 4:10 to 3:73?

Yup. It's not an uncommon thing to change gears, but it's not something most would attempt to do themselves because of the precision required. Most shops will charge between $1-2,000 to do that kind of job.

The fifth wheel comes in at 15.5k loaded. The dually provides a significant amount of "peace of mind" when traveling! I would probably never recoup the expense of the conversion. Oh well!
