Pwr 3rd row seat motor broken- what are my options?

2003 Expedition EB. the passenger side 3rd row seat motor shaft snapped. It doesn't look replaceable unless I drill out the rivet looking thing that holds the motor in place. is this something that I could try or do I really need to just buy another seat with the motor in place and maybe try an R&R of the seat leather? is the seat motor sold separate from the seat? the nearest Ford dealer is rather far from my home so I thought I 'd try here first and I didn't find anything through a couple searches.

thanks.

Dealer item

The motor and gearbox are sold as a unit. Last year my dealer quoted $180+tax.

Drilling out a rivet is about as easy as it gets, I'd go that route. Many dealerships have on line ordering, as do the other part warehouses which often times are much cheaper. Try Rock Auto and see what you come up with.

You could try a local junkyard and see if they have the assembly.

In the end, I found a complete 3rd row seat in the correct color in good condition for $200 on ebay. it was the easiest solution- once it arrived, 4 bolts and a couple electrical connections and it was done.
