Stupid Question Time - Grille

I know there are kits out there for the 2005 Super Duty Grille to be made to work on the 2000 Excursions....but would a grille from a 2000 F250 fit a 2000 Ford Excursion? My mind says yes - but everything points to no, no site says it would fit.

Found the grille I am looking for, but only lists for the f250, f350, f450.

I have Plastidipped my stock grille, but that crap chips so easy lol At least it was cheap

Headlights are about to be replaced as well.

Yes. A 2000 F250-350 grille will fit a 2000 X.

Thanks! I thought so, but wanted to be sure before I bought.

Appreciate it!

Thanks!

Some forums I am on, people get grilled for questions like this lol So I was expecting a different result lol

This should do it for cosmetic mods (minus a paint job or another wrap...truck was wrapped and still working on getting it all off).

Next up is a 4 inch lift and 35s...suspension has 133,000 miles on it, the motor and tranny have 70k...so suspension work is needed, might as well lift it

I have a set of newer style headlights to put in mine if I ever get a day off! I have never cared for the yellow marker lights of the earlier years.

Plus the two piece! They just look junky lol

I am going for the black look...not too sold on the ones I am buying...but will see how they look.

I could do without the LED in the middle...but taking a shot lol

The headlights for the newer Xs will not fit ours without cutting the support. Mine are like the '03. Clear top and bottom, but I do like the ones you show!

These should fit direct. When I wire up the LEDs, I will wire up my LED fogs as well to the parking lights....instead of a secondary switch.

I love these Fogs lol

I don't think I can drive around like this though...but I have the option! lol

Love those Headlights !

My 2003 OEM headlights don't look too bad, but the blacked out ones you posted look sweet.
I stuck on some LED DRL's just above my fog lamps,
however those LED's integrated into the aftermarket housings would blend much nicer. I was thinking of keeping the stock chrome grill surround but Plasti dipping the grill itself in black like yours. You said it doesn't hold up well?

I might not have done enough coats, this was two coats and its been on for about 3 months. I don't do a lot of driving (my round trip to work is 6 miles) and there are already three spots I can see the chrome lol

All I paid was $6, so I can't be too upset LOL

Here are two pics I just snapped today:

Great Photos

Great close-ups of your grill. I think I'll do mine the same way. Maybe 2-3 coats will hold up. I like the semi-gloss look and the rubberized finish might let those damn bugs bounce off
