PCM question

I am selling a ts chip it's programed for my truck vdh5 2003 auto the guy who wants it has a 2002 I don't know what number his PCM is. Will it mater if it's a different number and will it work in that truck

The vdh code has to be the same with a dp chip. Not sure with a ts, but I'm pretty sure the Pcm would have to be the same.

It's my understanding that a chip will not work between different PCM codes. You should check, but I think a 2002 F-Series will likely be VDH5 as well.

Do you know if they are in the "vdh" family if it will work. Mine is a vdh5 if his is a vdh3 will that work

I'm not sure. I would call Swamps. They could tell you for sure. Or whoever you got the chip from.
