'53-'56 Radiator cradle mounting

I'm sure this has been asked before but is there any particular reason why I shouldn't mount the radiator cradle more solid on the front end of my '53 frame? I have the old Volare' K-member set up on my truck and would like to solidify the front end more in order to keep the reverse-flipped hood from going out of adjustment. Thoughts, anyone?

I have my cradle hard mounted and used rubber studded isolators (studs) to mount the radiator, condenser and transmission. So far so good.

The original frame has a lot of flex to it. In my opinion, if the body and frame are not somewhat independent of each other the twisting/flexing could damage the connection between the front fenders and cab.

If the addition of the Volare K-member stiffened the frame to the point twisting isn't a problem, then it might be okay.

Again, this is just my opinion.

Given Effie's feedback, I'll keep an eye out for cracks or perhaps add rubber. Given that the cradle is rather flexible, I suspect that sufficient flexibility may exist there. Still, I didn't know it was originally mounted on rubber.
Don't they say ignorance is bliss?

Thanks for the input guys and I agree some flexing is good. The cab, as was original, is mounted in the rear on rubber bumpers/cushions(so to speak) and I've replaced the support arms and installed the new rubber bumpers all around. I don't intend to go off-roading or to do any racing with the old girl. Just a mild street cruiser is all I'm after here.
