Fastening rubber seal to air dam in hood-Bonusbuilt
I attempted unsuccessfully to install the original rubber seal on the air dam (to force air thru the radiator) that bolts up in the hood. Originally the seals were stapled (heavy duty staples) to the air dam-not a real option. I tried to use 3m black super weatherstrip and gasket adhesive. I would call it a weak contact adhesive, a real problem with the small radius 90 degree turns.
What have others used that worked well?

I installed mine within the last couple months and used a stiff wire. I removed all the old wire and cleaned and painted the panel. I have some fairly stiff wire in the shop. Drilled new holes in metal and molding and used the wire. New wire not tempered like the original staples. Fairly simple job.
