I have had a pretty good amount of people show extreme dislike for it. I went out on a limb and decided to do and even I was skeptical at first. But if its applied right I think it turns out really nice. Everyone who sees it in person thinks it looks great. I live in an apartment complex and just about every male has stopped by my garage and given their opinion. So far I havent seen anyone with a reaction that signifies they dont like it.

EP I just saw that your info said you're in the phoenix area? my wife and I plan on moving there in the up and coming months. Are there any truck / dentside groups down there? Living in North Dakota there isnt much for clubs of truck scene and that is one thing I am looking forward to!

Finally finished spraying the Durabak bedliner
My life is complete for the weekend as I finally finished spraying the Durabak bedliner on the cab, hood, doors and fenders. Now to just let it cure for a week or two since its getting cold at night in No Dak.
I sprayed smooth Durabak on the inside of the doors.

Prepping the hood and doors for primer and bedliner
I had to sand down the majority of the old paint to metal, fix a few rust spots, fill the original side mirror holes and then clean up everything before spraying the first coat of epoxy primer.
Once I begin to spray it goes like this:
- 3 coats of epoxy primer
- 3-4 light coats of medium build filler primer
-3-4 coats of bedliner ( Sprayed with a 3.5mm tip regular spray gun - not an undercoating gun)
I cannot spray epoxy based liners through the 3.5mm tip gun as they are too think and I did not want to thin it. The black is an epoxy based bedliner and the the green is Durabak 18 liner.
Spraying with a 3.5mm tip makes the bedliner spray on smooth and the only texture is from the actual granules that create the grit of the liner. Since it sprays on in light coats it is necessary to put many more coats. If you go this route remember to clean your gun with xylene every two simultaneous coats as the liner begins to dry in your siphon line, cup, and gun. It will then start spraying dry chunks into your paint and this is NO BUENO!
Rust in the corner of the door getting cut out
More rust getting cut out
fitting the metal and tacking it back in.
So much sanding to be done
This door had 6 different coats of paints. Primer, dark yellow, primer, bright yellow, primer, green.
Filled in the holes for the ford emblems.
Epoxied

Well The progress has been a little slow this winter with the temps getting down to -45 a few times and staying around -10 for a while. I had three heaters in my garage and they had no effect on the cold.
I did mange to get a few things done though
- Bolted the trans to the motor
- installed the rad core support on with radiator and AC condenser bolted up
- put the cab on the frame
- put thermal acoustic barrier inside the cab
- mount the Vintage Air GenII compac system
- begin working on wiring up the FAST Fuel Injection system
Here are some pics of my progress so far:
My pup Bruce (Old English Sheepdog) loving the cold weather while I freeze to death.
CVF Racing serpentine kit with Sanden AC compressor
there is Eastwood thermo-acoustic barrier under the insulation padding as well.
C6 automatic with Thor torque converter and a NP205 transfer case bolted on
got the core support and Radiator on
Just put a couple bolts on the fender aprons so I could mount the AC lines and drier with enough clearance.
