1994 F150 4X4 SC long box, 5.8 E4OD and 3.55's. 194000 Kms (120,500 miles). Sadly it leaks a bit from the front seal and puffs blue when I give it gas after a long coast down a hill. E4OD and working fine. I just developed a drip from the steering box. I saw the drip yesterday by the pitman arm so I guess a rebuild or replacement is in my future soon.

94 4.9 161k. Original engine and tranny. Second clutch but don't think it was needed, PO did it. Other than that it needed a valve cover gasket and that's it.

New to the forum & can't post pix yet. I have a 92 4X4 FlareSide, 5.8 engine w/E4OD tranny. 227,212 miles on it. Clean as a whistle and runs great.

As an aside, I really appreciate that this forum is here and available. Thanks!

Right around 240k or so... truck's in the sig.

I have maintenance records from the PO showing a transmission rebuild, used transfer case, and the usual minor stuff.

After I got it, the "good used transfer case" (that's exactly what it says on the work order) took a digger so I rebuilt a manual one and swapped it in. Also replaced the water pump and timing chain/sprockets, new frictions and cylinders in the rear brakes, new suspension bushings up front (all except shocks), welded a crack in the frame, and also a few other minor things as far as repairs go.

She's been real good to me, as I expect from a 90's Ford truck.

My 89 F250 SC with 7.3 idi and ZF5 just rolled over 240k. Acts like it has just been broken in and was rolled out of the factory yesterday. I believe i can get another 250k out of her with the right maintanence

I currently have 188K and change. I bought the truck last April with just turning over 180. Although I drive my truck every day, I just don't drive far. School is 5 or 6 miles and my work is about 11.7 miles away. I do about 170 miles a week.

On a side note, my grandpa has a 1971 F-100 that has over 300K. He's the original owner. Although he doesn't drive it daily like he did a couple years ago, it's still a great running truck. One day last year he took out a ledger (I didn't know he had) that had the dates and mileage of everything he'd done to it and how much he paid for it. From the day he bought it for about $2800 (New) to the last quart of oil he bought for it. Amazing stats!

My 1995 F-150 with 234,100 miles on original 4.9 engine and E4OD tranny. I've owned it since July of last year and I haven't ever had a single problem with it.

people have all sorts of stupid names for these trucks. brick nose, blunt nose, block nose, square nose, smash nose, obs, and then there is the popular 1st generation through 247th generation.
i prefer to call them what they are. 67to72, 73to79, 80to86, 87to91, 92to97.
saves on a lot of confusion.
I call it as I see them, old but well built trucks that I would gladly take any day!

As for my girl she is around 220ish,000 miles and as far as I know only new fuel filter, alternator, and ac dryer canister thing (replaced today)

Hi all,

My 97 Powerstroke F250 2WD with 5 speed has about 240k and runs great.
Will get a new clutch soon and be good for 20 more years.

A new to me 94 f150 4x4 with a 300 6 and a 5 speed has 170 and seems to run good since I fixed the fuel pump ground problem. Time will tell. But it's a clean Va. Truck I brought to Western NY.
