They are. But the rotten part of mine is the same as the gasser. I think I can make one out of two. I'll know more when i remove mine

Well I called clay this morning to see if he had all the parts together yet. Yay finally. It should be shipped out today or tomorrow. I also ordered a 4" downpipe and a 4" diamond eye cat back kit. I'll probably need to get a piece of 4" pipe as well to connect the two parts together but it will be nice to have a 4" turbo back exhaust. I also got a southbend 1944-5okhd clutch ordered which is supposed to be rated for 425hp and have good road manners.

Nick, you're gonna have to do some cutting and tunneling to get that 4" down pipe in there. I don't know if you knew that already or not.

Yeah I did. The big hole where my motor used to be should be a good access point I think . If I'm going to do it now is the time imo

You're as bad as me! LOL! My whole build started with a broken clutch disc, and yours with a broken glow plug! The funny thing is, after all the work I've done to the truck.....I still have clutch problems! LOL!

Hahaha well it can't be easy right. Although I am getting a little tired of seeing it parked. I'd like to drive it. I'm supposed to go camping this coming weekend but now am thinking I'll have stuff to do on my truck. Oh well. I'll pull the trailer out there for my wife and kids still

I know what you mean. Mine was down for about 5 months. It took longer than expected because right in the middle of the build I had to have triple hernia surgery and I didn't touch the truck for over a month.

And you still got out there about 2 weeks too soon!!! hernia surgery is no bueno...ask me how I know

Well, I went back to work after a week, but didn't do anything. Sat around in sweat pants for a couple weeks, but at home I can't stand to sit around in the house when I have stuff to do. I'm waiting for my wife to get supper ready is the only reason I'm on here now! LOL! As soon as I stuff my face I'm going out and dig post holes until dark probably

I can't remember, but how how much did the machine shop end up boring your cylinders over? I tore one of the engines I had on a stand down the other night, and I believe it's gonna have to be sleeved. It sat full of water in the back of a truck and I don't think the rust damage to a couple of the cylinders will bore out.

30 thou. The cam bearing need replacing. Crank and cam just need a polish. Clay doesn't offer anything more than 30 over. Beyond that it's probably safer to sleeve anyway.
