loose wire

Hello,
I was out cleaning some corrosion off the battery terminals, and just below the battery i found a loose wire hanging free. It has a yellow clip that looks like it should go to a bolt for grounding or something. about 4 to 5 inches up from that yellow clip, there is a 60 amp inline fuse. Can anyone tell me what this is for and where to hook it back up to? I tried following the wire, but loose it somewhere under right side, passenger sidewall, almost like it whent to the fuel pump shut off. any help?

Glenn

sounds aftermarket. may have had a amp/sub in your truck at some point and it was removed and the wire just cut and disconnected

Agreed with aftermarket, maybe an old alarm system also.

The 60A fuse sounds like it was a line for a speaker or subwoofer amplifier, I agree with everyone else it was something aftermarket that was cut out and just left dangling there.
