Hey everyone Summer is just about here and I'm very exited and feeling the need for speed. I've got a edelbrock air cleaner on my 79 but its one of those shiny 'looks good' kind of things that just sits right on top of the carb. I bought it because my original air cleaner housing was all smashed up. But I do want to go back to cold air intake and talking to a buddy I got the idea that I want to run the intake out the hood with a scoop or valences or something. nothing too big and cheesy but I do like the idea. Anyone done this? Who sells parts for doing this and for that matter what would I need?

You could always make one. I saw 2 for sale at a swap meet a few weeks ago, didn't see a brand on them though.
