Chrome Trim for Roof Rack

I have added the Chrome trim on my windows like the Navigators have. Now I would like to add a chrome piece to the side rails of the roof rack to make it look like a limited.

I am not having any luck finding anyone who makes this. Anyone have a source?

Go to the dealer and have them pull the part number.

I have checked the link you posted and they also have one for an expedition with the same rack. They want too much money. I offered them $ 150.00. It's not like they have people calling every day to get these. They said no thanks.

Ford is out of the question as they want $235 per side. Guess this upgrade is one I am going to have to do with out.

Post a pic of your current rack... I have an '08 Navigator that I'm trying to REMOVE all the chrome. Perhaps we can work out a trade? Would need to double check mounting holes, etc, but we can talk. I'm in Illinois, where u?

Hey, Thanks for the offer. That would be great if we could just swap side rails. I believe your rails would be the same configuration as mine only chrome.

Unfortunately I am in Louisville, KY and you being in Illinois, the distance would be too much to make this happen. Further, I really would not want to get into the shipping issues and costs.

Here is a picture of my truck that my provider is using on ebay to sell the window trim.

From what I have read, removal is easy after popping off the end caps. I really do not want to remove the end brackets. I hope after looking at the mount that the side rails can be removed without taking the mounts off the roof.

This talk is probably a waste of time because I don't think this is going to happen. Salvage yards want too much, (like they have people beating their doors down for this rack) and Ford wants the moon for the side rails by themselves.

Thanks anyway.

I love how it's listed for 2007-2014 yet they picture a 2006 or older. Really instills confidence.

Not sure what you are referring to. The truck in the picture is my truck, which is a 2011. I believe the design has remained the same since 2007.
