Completely Perplexed Regarding Trans Xmembers

So I got my ZF5 in and went to put the Xmember on. It doesn't line up. At all. I bought the correct ZF5 part from a member here parting out a 1997 F350 wit a 460 and a ZF.
The mount on my ZF does not fit in it but the mount still on the automatic does.
There is just no way this crossmember will fit the ZF.

What happened? I thought all Zf crossmembers were the same? Where should I get the right one now? How will I Know if it will work?

Holy F. I feel like a total dope. After some reading, it seems the ZF one I Have (same sort as the E4od in that it only has one bracket) is supposed bolt on the DRIVER's side and the drop bracket goes on the passenger's side. My E4OD one was the exact opposite.
