OK the pressure plat I got was one that typically goes in the first assembly on the bottom. You will notice that it is curved on the bottom and this will give me the room to add one more steel and a friction. So I will remove the pressure plate from the High/reverse assembly and add the clutch and friction plate, giving me 4 instead of 3 clutches in this assembly.
I am showing .039 gap here. It is a little farther then I like, but it is still in specs. Also notice that there is a thrust washer in place on the hub of the assembly. This will need to be in place when you mate the two assemblies together.

The forward clutch assembly is mated into the high/reverse clutch assembly. The teeth on the friction plates will need to line up and ride on the splines on the forward clutch assembly, so this will take some careful twisting, rocking and side to side movement get everything to line up. The two assemblies will sit flush with each other once you have them together.
Just before you place them together make sure to check the steel oil rings on the bottom side of the forward assembly and make sure they are loose in the grooves, but the ends need to be locked together, Then place the 4 tang thrust washer in place. Again it is a good idea to use some Vaseline to hold the washer in place.
Once together you will need to place the torrington bearing in the center of the hub.

That will catch the thread up to where I am at this time. I am going to try to get to the Low/Reverse clutch assembly, Governor, and possibly front pump later tonight.
I hope Everyone following this is able to understand what I am doing and if there are any questions, or if you feel I might have missed something please bring them up.
