Found a set of Factory aluminum rims at a swap meet today

I went to the Broncorama show and swap meet at Jeffs Bronco Graveyard today and someone was selling these rims with the push in center caps. I have been looking for a set for a while now, and these are the only set Ive seen in person. Going off of the brochures I have, they were optional on '82-'84 F150s in two and four wheel drives. Got em for $100. I also got a locking hood release handle with key for $5.

With a little clean up they will look great on my '83 long box with a 4x4 conversion, bed rails, locking hood release, under hood light, tach guage cluster and sport steering wheel.

Pics from my '82 brochures

From my '84 brochure. Don't have any '83 brochures yet.

They're going to end up on this truck.

Nice score,
Got a pic of that locking bonnet release?

Can I ask a favour, in those brochures I've got the 4x2 with the "K" & "I" wheels. Do they list the standard tyre size and spec in there? My ute doesn't have a tyre placard at all and I'm not sure on the actual size/spec it needs as a minimum.

Thanks Brad.

Thanks Bill,
I wasn't clear, I meant type K in the first brochure and type I in the second, so by your expertise that makes it a type 5.

Does the IPC show the tyre size and spec?

Cheers Brad (proud Aussie component of ANZAC )

TYPES 5 - 9 - 12: 15" x 6" - 5 lug wheels on a 5.50" bolt circle. "Tyre" sizes varied because bias ply tires were standard equipment, radials were optional.

Ford measures wheels across from the inside flanges, not across from the outer lips.

E0TZ-16700-C = Here's the locking "Bonnet" dealer installed kit, also lists the individual parts. All are obsolete, I haven't looked to see if any of these parts can be found NOS

Back when those were new, I thought they were rather ugly. These days, I'd like to have a set, just because they are not very common........

Thanks for the information on both the wheels and hood release Bill. I appreciate it.
