Anybody using this setup?

if you go to their site you can find the links to the you tube videos.
Millstone Automotive

I checked out the videos and it seems really slow, but I like the small foot print, and its no frills install.

What do you think?

how fast is your setup????

I have one and it is slow, had a shop install it and it took way too long. The young man seem to have no clue, even with the instructions I provided. Mine doesn't open that much either,he must not have put it in the right location. When I get a chance I'm going to try to remount it,it is nice though underneath. L8R ZFLASH

The 53-55 versions bolts to the firewall and would take a little longer to install and would be easier to mount Incorrectly. The 56 version bolts to the stock lever arm.

What do u have?

Is this not listed for the '48 - '52 F1's due to it's 12 volt motor? Should it still work on a '48 - '52 if the vehicle has been converted to 12 volt neg. ground?

Not sure. I guess if the stroke is set correctly it would.

I'm still stuck on its slow as slow can be speed.

How fast are the other power cowl units??

Sorry, just getting off work. I've got '55 version, he said if he mounted it higher,it wouldn't close all the way. I'm still thinking it's wrong, yes it's slow, but you do have more room underneath your dash. Let me know how it comes out. L8R ZFLASH
