help please expedition 4.6l

Hoping someone might know why my truck keeps draining itself I'm guessing a short somewhere I've been disconnecting the battery when I get out if I leave it connected for more than thirty minute's while its off I come back to it dead as a door nail

Place an amp meter in line with the battery. Check what the amp draw is. Now pull each fuse from the fuse box until it drops to zero amps. Check to see what the fuse powers and you will find your problem. I have had this on two different Ford trucks and both times it was the GEMS module failure caused by a leak at the windshield.

There's a Ford mechanic I watch on YouTube that has a video on SUVs (FordTecMakuloco) rear window wiper motor not going into park position and running the Battery down........
