I am starting a 7.3 F250, 4x4, 91 5s42 to 97 e4od swap. According to what I have heard this should be no problem. I ordered the pedal kit and will replace what is needed as I go. The only issue that I See coming up is the electrical connections. I would like all the lights and sensors to work as the both have cruise and 4X4. any help or links to information would be appreciated.

 

first off, the 97 trans needs a computer to run, which your 91 does not have. so you will have to invest in a stand alone computer to run the trans.
also, you may have to change the injector pump if the one on the 91 does not have the arm on hte side to run the throttle position sensor.

 

I'm sorry i am putting the manual trans out of the 91 into the 97 psd auto and trying to work out the lights and indicator light as well as cruise.
