Another S366 Turbo Question Thread

Hey all I had another S366 Question. Tuesday night my friend with a 03 SD and a set of 180/30s I think finally toasted his 366. I had purchased mine a long time ago used ( for less than a day) off craigslist. It has been sitting in the garage this winter while other things were addressed on the truck and wasn’t planning on installing it till this fall. Iwent ahead and sold it off to him to get his truck back on the road and am in no hurry now to replace it. I got onto Ebay and took a look on what is out there. Seemed like there were quite a few options…

I found this one for a pretty darn good price shipped… http://www.ebay.com/itm/Borg-Warner-Turbo-S300-S366-91-79-Extended-Tip-/220790099027?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item33681d8c53&vxp=mtr
What trim are most of you guys running with on the 366 and stage 1 or 2 sticks? My old one that I bought was pretty much identical to this one. Are you running a .88 or 91 with a 73/76/ or 79 exducer? I was just going to go with the .91/79.. but thought I would ask those who have already made the change and what they wish they would have gone with or are happy with on smaller injectors…

Any benefit besides the easy turnout on this style housing?

Worth picking up a billet wheel for it? Or just leaving it alone?

Travis would be the one to answer your questions. I have an S366 on my truck, but I still have a lot to learn about turbos.

Thanks for the info guys. I figured sticking with the .91/79 was fine. Any of you throw in a billet wheel? Worth the pennies or just leave it alone?

Is it just me, or does that turbo need to be re-clocked to work in our trucks...

my opinion a billet wheel will help a little but the difference is not major. the turbo will come from the factory perfectly balanced so imo leave it alone
