Can't go wrong with that deal. If you want to I can try. I'm far from professional but can usually get stuff to stick together. It is real handy having a welder. Like to get it setup for aluminum also. That would be awesome

Good morning Woodchuckers, welcome (finally) to FRIDAY!!
I have a similar welder from Clarke, works like a charm. Had a friend help me get started, it's a blast welding stuff together!

Hoping to pick up a little Clarke EN130 MIG welder today with gas bottle and regulator. $75 bucks. Can't beat that price. Been looking for a while but everyone wants $300 for a basic small welder from Lincoln or other name brands. Clarke is our of business but its the same welder as the Forney so parts are available. Haven't touched a welder since shop class in high school when I had to demonstrate I could use a stick welder. Watching you use the MIG last fall gave me the bug and I'm hoping this one will do the trick. Might have to have you give me some pointers.

And not warp it from heat. I might try some structural adhesive sometime. It would avoid damaging the metal from welding and seal the seam at the same time.
