BC's May Days, Rolling Into Summer BS/Chat

Wow April is now gone. That seemed to go pretty quickly. We should be starting out with some boffo weather here. I for one hope it stays a while.

Not too bad Steve. Fixed my trans temp gauge and did a little work in the back yard. We are going to put in some sod I think.

That sounds good.. I worked on the Miata a little today. It had a slight leak by the thermostat hose connection. I tightened the clamp and I think that fixed it.

I guess if you hadn't noticed it for a while you could loose a fair bit with just a small leak.

I didn't notice it even when I checked my oil.. It was cool then and I guess the fluid would evaporate over night.. I will just have to keep an eye on it for a while..

Sometimes you can just miss things like that. I have done it more than once. The system is under pressure when hot. So as it cooled the coolant that leaked could have evaporated. It probably wouldn't leak when cool.
