I know what you mean and I was out sick on Monday...

 

Blah. I've not slept much this week, between the truck and work. Hopefully some extra sleep is in order tonight.

 

Hey Neil, Clint. It has been a long week.

 

I have to be up and out of the house early tomorrow for the chicken BBQ that we are having at the fire hall. We are cooking 750 halves.

 

Just a few birds.

I have stuff going on somewhat early tomorrow. Not sure exactly what time yet.

hi everyone. talked to the guy about the steering wheel adapter, and it turns out my steering column is all effed up at the end. his part is fine. so now i have to find a machine shop to fix it.

i hate trucks! lol.

 

Can you find another column, Steve? Might be cheaper than fixing the one you have.

 

it took me 2 months to find this one and it cost me $200. 64 was a weird year for these things. the column goes right into the steering box. this one had the steering box attached (which made things a lot easier). i might drill a hole down the middle, thread it and then just bolt the wheel on.

 

Oh, okay. Well, then probably best to either fix it, or do like you said. Don't you hate that!

 

yeah. i just want to get it on the road. ok, i'm heading out of here. have a nice weekend.
