zf 5 speed swap questions
I recently bought a ZF 5 speed from a 1995 f350, 351. It is going in my 1985 F250 which is a 351 and currently the t18 4 speed. When i bought the trans i also got the transfer case which is a Borge warner 13-0...., my truck has the NP 205. Does anyone know what ill need to do the swap and weather i should use the NP 205 or the Borge Warner, I want to know what i'm going to encounter problems with like the drive shafts, clutch, linkage, and anything else that ill need to prepare for, Any advice, or if anyone has done it and knows what i need to prepare for, it would be greatly appreciated.

If your truck really does have a 205 transfer case, it's not original and was retro fitted. Is it divorced or is it bolted directly to the tranny?
If it's bolted to the tranny, your easiest solution would be to keep the 205 and all the modifications that were necessary to fit it. If you measure, I believe you will find the t18 and the zf are very close to the same length. So it should go right in.

From what I understand, the ZF is a bit longer than the T18, which could require driveshafts to be modded.
As for the TC, compare the output to the rear. NP could have either a fixed yoke, or slip yoke, while all BW cases I have seen all used a fixed yoke. If they are the same, use whichever is easier, likely the one already attached to the ZF, with all the shifting linkage brackets in place.
If the outputs are different, it will require more extensive mods to the rear DS, so I would stick with what's already under there.

Did you get any of the shifter mechanism with the transfer case that came with the zf? If not, the 208 shifter may not work and you will have to use the 208. It will bolt right up to the zf.
If you have it all there laying in front of you, figure out what your best/least amount of work/cost will be. Both transfer cases have good reputations, both will bolt up to the tranny, it's just the other little things you will have to consider like driveshaft lengths and transfer case linkage/shifters.

Clutch size varies by engine. For example, the 351M and 400 use a 12" clutch, while I believe the 460 uses an 11" clutch. I'd match the clutch to the trans, ie use a late model clutch with the ZF.
