Front driveshaft to dana

Finally got a front shaft for my highboy. I have a hp dana 60 is the ujoint the same or do I need a different one, picked up a driveshaft from 77 highboy.

Yeah I did a lot of research today. I took measurements with a tape looks like ill need a 1310/1330 ujoint. Going to grab dads calipers( i think thats what they are called you know those things that measure things really accuratly to the thousandths) and measure everything really good. Not really looking to upgrade to the biggest and strongest. Just want to use what I have and have 4wd working again.

Yes dial or measuring caliper...A standard 6" steel ruler will work also. What ever at least gets you on the road and with a working 4x4 is always a solid goal.

Yes having it working again is the goal. Its embarassing to have a lifted highboy missing that front shaft, it really sticks out like a sore thumb.

I bet the sore thumb can still yank a bumper off a chebby any day. lol

And since its a Ford and a HB, front d/s or not it stil looks better doing it.
