my 06 SD has the OEM signal mirrors. my pass side amber signal lens has a crack in it. from search here i believe that the mirror can be split and the light lens portion removed.

what i haven't determined is if you can buy just the OEM lens replacement and cost

dealer sells what looks like the whole back skull with lens? and is around $200, is that the only war to get the light?

i just need the amber lens, or possibly a way to repair it, anyone fixed a crack successfully? (not a scratch)

also see the aftermarket lens/light units for sale, anyone that has replaced theirs have am OEM pass side to sell?

Let me check in the morning. One was broken I don't remember what one.

 

I checked and cant seem to find it. Maybe it got tossed out when I cleaned out the junk. Its been 2 years. Sorry

 

Find one used or get the recon ones. They are a real pita to remove and install. I had the same issue and got some used lenses for mine for 60 bucks from a fellow forum member. I ended up cracking the mirror glass when doing the replacement. So be careful
