OT. rebel road tv show 50 F1
Wow anyone else see the tv show tonite rebel road ? The first ten mins of the show, they show a good ol boy pullin his daddys 50 F1 out of the woods to make it a rat rod, then a guy pullin a 20s ford out of a river ? They showed a few 48~52 ford trucks in the back ground of the shots. Wonder how many more trucks are goin to be killed or the price going up after this show lol... Not my cup of tea at all.

With shows like this, it's no wonder that people from other parts of the country think that those of us from the south that have a southern drawl are complete idiots.
In defense of the guy from Manchester, Tn. I have seen some of his work and although not my style he does good work and I would hardly call his build a rat rod.

That show was like a bad car accident. Horrible to look at but couldn't stop watching. The guy from TN built an awesome car, and the build quality looked pretty good. The other cars looked like hacked up thrown together garbage. That poor truck was the worst, and the guy that built it... I don't have the vocabulary to describe him.

I wish they had shown some close-ups of Rikki Bobbie's model A. What he pulled out of the creek looked like wasted metal but the few shots of the finished product didn't look like a "Rat-Rod" to me, it looked more like a full up "custom".
Then again, the 57 chev fin mobile looked like rolling junk to me but the chopped bus was "" different "" and kinda kewl in some weird way. Not that I would want it,,,,,,, well maybe the big block.
