SGT I replied to your post on the .org. I'm getting bored waiting to see one of those new king ranch's. So I figured since I have to wait to see one I may as well test drive the new Denali and Ram. It looks like the 2015 Denalis are already hitting the lots. I have yet to drive a dodge or a GM HD truck, except for a lifted kodiak which doesn't count. It just pisses me off, I have been to 3 different ford dealerships over the past two weeks and not one salesman knew anything about the new king ranch. None of them even knew that the motor was changing for 2015, they all look at me like im crazy for not taking a 2014. Then they read me the spec sheets on the 2015 and 14 to show me the part where it says 6.7 powerstroke on both. One salesman thought I was crazy telling him about the new king ranch so he got on his computer and checked the east coast to find a 2015 KR and to his surprise he couldn't find one. Then he started calling around to figure out what was going on. Another salesman just told me its not that big of a deal and that it wasn't that different so there was no point in waiting. But this salesman also flipped on all the AUX switches during the test drive to show me that it turned on the top "aux lights" (clearance lights). I just agreed with him. One dealership also called me 4 times last week to give me a survey and question me on why I didn't buy a vehicle. She also asked me what vehicle I was looking at and I told her a superduty and she didnt even know what that was until I said a F350.
I tell you what Ford has really been stepping up the quality of their vehicles but their dealerships are just ****t.

Hello Timbo126, sorry, I rarely subscribe to threads, even my own, and don't visit the .org that often.
The 2015 King Ranch's didn't open for order until the 17th of last month, and some options were still on hold until a week or two later; you will start seeing them on dealer lots soon, mine will be one of the first completed, and it's a little scary really. The F450 King Ranch opens for ordering in Late May.
Salespeople that do not know anything about product knowledge are a direct reflection of the sales manager and leadership of the dealer. Having been through extensive sales training in my life, and been successful at it, I feel the same as you and am astounded at the lack of knowledge these people have, that are trying to make a living. I have literally walked away from salespeople at dealers because they were 'winging it' and I knew more. I don't feel I should support them in life for doing a crappy job.
I looked at the 2015 GMC's and think they are a good looking truck. The dune and espresso interior looks great on the one I looked at. I wondered what the huge box was hanging below the truck, and found it was the DEF tank. It looks like engineers literally threw it on there after designing the truck. I have read horror stories about hitting them not he ground during light off road trips, getting smashed by objects on the highway, and other bad stories.
I thought about a GMC hard, but obviously passed. In order for me to get near the options I wanted, I and to get a Denali, and I am not a big fan of chrome.
The Ram's have a horrible interior and it has always felt smaller than the Ford's interior. With that being said, I loved my last year 5.9 Cummins 2500 (2007) and should have never sold it. I like to be comfortable though, and the Super Duty is a comfy truck. I imagine my King Ranch will not disappoint.

I love my King Ranch, I have the Adobe color interior. I savor my front floor mats for vacations though. I live on a dirt driveway and everything around here is dirt (hence the no black paint), it's a hobby farm you know. I have a set Weather Tech floor mats that I have in there most of the time.
