got some questions

I have an two 01 f250s one is a 7.3 that has been wrecked and needs a bed frame and front end . The second on is a v10 that needs a motor but other than that they are the same extended cad short bed 4x4 .
So why question is would it be better to swap out all the v10 stuff for the 7.3 stuff or just fix the 7.3 one with a new frame and bed and front end .
Sorry if it is in the wrong section if so please feel free to move to the correct section.
Thanks in advance for any input .

I think that more depends on what skills and resources you have with body work. I don't know anything about the V10, but for the 7.3 you will need the wiring harness, PCM, and IDM. I would think the motor mounts would be the same. You'll also need to switch over the intercooler. I don't know if the radiator is different. Swapping the motors would be the cheaper route, but might be more labor intensive.

Fixing the 7.3, you'll be doing a lot of disassembly, cutting, welding, reassembly, prep and paint. I don't know what resources you have or how bad the damage is, but some one who is skilled on a frame machine can straighten the frame out.

Alot of people will tell you once the frame is bent it will never ride the same. That depends on the guy who fixes it. If they go back and double check and readjust, and triple check and readjust, it will will be just fine. Many people however, will get it close enough and call it good. Then tell you because the frame is bent it won't ride the same to cover up there work ethics.

I would perform the swap. There are plenty of people doing them at this point, either gassers to 7.3 or 6.0's to 7.3 at this point. It has been done and it is relatively straight forward. One member here is doing stuff like that on a pretty regular basis, SkySkiJason. I would look him up and PM him. He can give you pointers I am sure. He has a thread about a custom crew cab mounted on an extend cab frame that should be on one of the first few pages. Below is a link to the thread. I would contact him. He is a good dude.
