F150-f250 spring swap question
So I'm doing a f250 spring swap on my 94 f150. I'm looking to buy Dayton 5 leaf, leaf springs from rock auto. Now my question is what size u bolts do I need to make this happen? Rock auto has a few different sizes. I'm looking at ones that are 5/8" x 3 5/8" x 10 1/2". Will these work or do I need longer u bolts? Thanks for any input. Ben

thanks for the reply. and ATS Springs is a reputable company? I came across them before but I didn't know how reliable they were and couldn't find many people who had experience with them.

Hey Ben! If you want send me a message. We make all our Ubolts from straight rods so once we determine which size you need I can make them right away for you.
Also we can take a look at what springs would benefit you the most!

Not all of them, My 90 F150 has the same 3" springs as my 89 F250, all factory stuff. The 90 has 4/1 leaf with an overload on top and the 89 has 5/1 with an overload on top, all 3" wide.

Dang it! I keep forgetting that there are 2WD trucks out there!
BTY, some cab and chassis trucks have 2.5" springs, also. That's where my D60 front came from and that's why I still have the TTB springs. But ATS has quoted me new stuff and I've almost got the money saved up to get them. I sure am looking forward to that smoother ride!
