Fuel line clip size

Dorman makes the clips I need for the fuel line connectors. They have two sizes available, 10 .5 millimeter and 13 millimeter. Does anybody know which size our trucks require?

Are you talking about the clips that secure the fuel line to fuel filter? I believe I have one on my truck (closest to engine) and the other one is missing (if it is supposed to have two. I went to junk yard and found one truck that had only one just like mine and a second truck that had two clips but they were different than my clips; perhaps they were of a different year.

Do you have pics of clip or Dorman part #? Do you know what was on your truck originally? I can measure mine if needed so you have precise size.

I know they're the original style clips. Just don't know about the size or not. But the 13mm are nylon and the 10.5 are metal. so I think the smaller size is the correct one.

The nylon ones are completely different that the metal ones. I have not found the metal ones (in the example pics I provided above) for sale anywhere, not even Dorman. I believe it may be a dealer only item.

Clip sizes vary (e.g inlet to fuel pumps are larger than return lines)...........specifically where are these clips going?

GJ will have to let us know which clips.

Are you saying that the metal fuel filter safety clips (for fuel filter) are two different sizes....one size on out to engine side and one from in from from fuel tank side?

The larger line coming out of the fuel pump.

Not the safety clips but the little springs inside the fuel line that you have to disengage to release the lines from the filter, fuel pump, etc.

Found it! Dorman part number 800-017. Comes with both clip sizes for main line and return lines.

OEM numbers were:
E9UZ9B307A and E9UZ9B307B

I am in the same boat as you

I had to force the fuel filter off the line going to the rear of the truck. Ended up bending the little metal tangs in the clip. I just called Advance, hope they have the 800-017 as the assortment pack.

EDIT. They had them and they worked. It says 13mm and 10mm. the 10mm worked on the 5/16 line

I was able to bend mine back to get the line back on, but I only bolted in one bed bolt and put on my temp mount brake lights so I could just take the bed right off again when the parts came from amazon. Its that damned cheap pop metal tool from harbor freight that messed the clip up. I found that the plastic set they have works great. And for the little use it will see, worked out great.
