My searching on here has not produced much. I would like to follow some threads about installing 460 ZF 5-speeds in the 53-56 Ford F-100. I do relize it's a custom build but anybody have any tips or tricks. Thanks for the help.

 

Make sure to find an older one because the newer trucks had the speedometer sensor on the rear diff so the tranny had no speedometer sensor

 

What is a older one?A 89?

 

Pre 92 i think had a cable driven speedo, 92 + had a rear axle electronic speedo on 2wd and supposedly electonic in the t case on 4wd.
