Question Drivetrain swap

Hello, I am about to undertake a fairly large project, and could use some advice from the Ford Gurus who abound here. I have a 92 F250 ext cab 4x4 with the 5.8, ZF5, BW1345, I just acquired an 88 F250 4x4 rollover with the efi 7.5, E4OD. I plan on using at least the 460 and auto in my 92, possibly the t case. I am not sure which t case was used in 88. It seems like a pretty straight forward swap, other than I am concerned about the ECM and related harnesses, 88 being the first efi system. Any good advice about crossing over the harnesses, or any part of the swap?
