How to install or uninstall the side vent windows on 57 to 60 f100s?

What is the best way to remove the vent windows. My drivers glass is breaking at the edges that are in contact with the side window.
Thanks in advance.

sounds like your windows are delaminating? prob best to look in manual for diagram...but it is basically just screws on inside and top of door and a little elbow grease-careful, I broke my passenger window first time i tried...

ya, fairly easily. You can have glass shop cut since it is flat or this is where I bought it. Even came etched with factory ford symbol in corner of glass

I wouldn't trade my original delaminating wing windows for anything. They just add to the awesomeness.
I guess if you have actual broken glass thats another story.

I completely agree, rest of glass is original and it just looks right and fits truck.

Same here. I have a cracked windshield that will get replaced, but everything else stays.

That is the kind of talk I love!

I had a broken vent and replaced it with old stuff from another Fridge so as not to hurt the look.

There's more to it than that. In order to remove the vent window, the 22296 division bar has to be removed first.

Very true, just about everything comes out of the inside of the door to get at the vent window!
