It Runs.... The Blackwater Engine Fixed Right at SuperDutyService

I finally have a good engine!!!
After a year of Babying the Blackwater engine, it finally blew a cylinder.
Thank God for Anthony & Julie at SuperDutyService in Grain Valley, MO!

We went through every inch of that engine and fixed it with a new block bored .010" over instead of the .040" the Blackwater engine was bored. All FORD gaskets, not Victor Reinz gaskets which Blackwater still swears up and down are OEM gaskets.

The Blackwater heads had multiple damaged valves that came out of an engine that had an injector tip or glow plug break off in. All of the Valves were used. The heads and block were found to not be true and had poor deck surfacing.

SuperDutyService knows what we 6.0L owners want and uses only quality OEM parts and Gaskets. I would not hesitate recommending them to anyone!

We even color matched it to my body/trim color =D

So happy to finally have a good engine!!!

If you replaced the block I don;t think that there is enough
of the Swamp-water engine left to call it that anymore.

BTW I have some software you should check out if you want.

Everything looks great. I always hate to hear that somebody had a problem with an engine builder. It makes people question whether there are any out there who actually do things right.

Welcome to our world!!!! That is what we have been saying. Blackwater is not the only one I've had my hands on either. I'm a skeptic,, it's a "ONE STRIKE" kinda deal for me!!!! One strike n you're out!!! Ok,, maybe not one strike,, but the first pitch tells a bunch.

So Anthony. How much would you charge me to have my engine built if I supply all the parts? I'd want the block painted the DT-466 blue (preferably multiple coats).

It's either that, or two managers at my store have buyers for my truck, and want to put me into a very low mileage 2013 or 2014 6.7L truck comparably equipped like mine or even a Lariat.

Looking forward to seeing the shop over memorial day. Hope the GTG is still on..

Congratulations to the OP on having a great running engine! And to Anthony and Julie's operation.
