B99 price

Anybody know what the typical current price for B99 (or B99.9) is?

There's a cooperative in Santa Fe, Reunity Resources, that for a $50 / year fee will let you have access to a "competitive price" on B99. Just wondering what sort of price I can expect lately. Anyone know?

And while we're at it, which fuel lines if any do I need to think about replacing on my 6.0 to make it happy with bio?

Out here in Oregon, I've seen it for around $0.50 less than regular diesel. So at savings like that, you would have to buy around 100 gallons worth.

That sounds reasonable. That's like 2.5 fillups for me. I'll see if I can find out what the SF coop's price is.

I have always found it to be the the same price or slightly higher. I wish I could find it for 50 cents less.

On a 6.0 I don't believe any lines. They should all be made out of Viton. But my 6.0's had other issues and we got rid of them too soon to tell if Bio was creating a problem. (and I don't run Bio all the time anyways).

I guess it would be too much to ask for an example of what "access to better pricing" means.

Good to know.

What they mean, apparently, is if you pay a $50/year fee, then they'll allow you the privilege of paying them a delivery fee to bring you a quantity of B99.9 at a competitive price, which is probably petro plus 10%. The coop doesn't allow you to go to their facility to fill up, since -- I would assume -- they don't have the place staffed all the time.

It's a not-exactly-convenient system that I'd probably be willing to participate in, if only to encourage such activities. Not ideal, but it's the best I can get in NM (short of making it myself, which isn't currently feasible).
