Looking at an F550 V10 with 49k on it but sat unused for 5 years. Nothing wrong with it they just parked it because work slowed way down and no one wanted to drive it due to the 550's harsh ride.

A guy at work says "don't buy it if auto's sit the seals crack and it will die in a couple thousand miles."

So now that seed has been planted in my head.

I did just buy a 2000 F350 with 14k miles on it that I presume did plenty of sitting and it's fine with over 20k on it now. But I know the 550 never moved so is there a risk here?
