Had local repair shop change out injector and a couple glow plugs. Then the front plate gasket was leaking so they changed that out. Then there is still a leak they say it is the glow plug wiring harness. I looked with a strong light it is originating between the valve cover and exhaust manifold. I see some oil around the boots of a couple glow plugs. It only leaks when the engine shuts down and cools. Is that the glow plug wiring harness???

I don't see how the glow plug harness could leak anything. It just sends power from the glow plug controller (on the passenger side valve cover) to each glow plug. It doesn't have anything to do with oil at all...

Can you take a picture and post it?
How do you put a photo on here? I need to correct myself I guess it is leaking around the boot that has an o-ring around them and the glow plug wire goes through that boot
If you've got a Photobucket account (or similar) just upload a photo to Photobucket and then link it in your post here. There's a button above the text entry box that says "Insert Image" if you put your mouse pointer over it and you can just put in the URL of the image there.
