Each has good and bad things about them, only more so on a personal truck level.
There is no guarantee a 7.3 diesel will last long for you, and there is no guarantee a 6.0 won't go 500,000 miles without costing you a dime.

If you don't plan on tuning, I'd stay away from a 6.4, unless you're on the highway just steady 99% of the time.

6.0's can be fixed up really strong and dependable.

7.3's are nice, but compared to the 6.0 trucks, and especially 6.4 trucks, a lot less refined.

I had a 7.3 before, and have a 6.4 now, and it is a much nicer truck. Nice enough that if it blows up, I'll buy another 6.4.

The 6.7's are the nicest truck bar none, left bone stock.

The 6.4's are the fastest with tuning and basic mods.

The 7.3's are generally going to be the most trouble free, but most are miled out now, and rust problems etc.

I would say that is one of the best explanation on advice on buying a ford diesel.
