Building Horsepower on 5.4

Hey everyone! Looking to add some HP to my F350. I'm looking a getting a sct programmer for the truck. But was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? Also if anyone knows of sites that sell manifolds for a turbo. Not looking at high boost some of the research I have done leads me to be leave that the bottom ends on the 5.4 2 valves will break at 16psi...So looking to do around 5psi max just can't find a bolt on kit for these trucks any suggestions

What sort of work do you do with your F350? Unless you don't use yours for more than a daily driver you're probably not going to want to add forced induction. Unless built for it, turbocharged or supercharged engines don't do well towing, and you would likely blow it up if you hooked something heavy to it.

There isn't a great way to get more power out of these without making large compromises elsewhere. If more power is a must you should look at getting a truck with the V10.

if you are willing to spend that kind of money i would suggest selling the truck and getting a diesel. The 5.4 isnt a power demon.

Don't do towing with it.. Building more of a sleeper.. The other issue with selling the truck is not only do i owe on it. But trying to find a diesel in my year in the shape that my truck is in is going to cost more after selling my truck and getting into another one..Plus I know the ins and outs of this truck

Whatever does it for you, but getting that truck to hold its own with a midsize grocery getting V6 sedan will probably cost more than its worth. It's a 3-4 ton work machine, they never made them to go fast.

I would call Procharger or Kenne Bell and see what they have.
