Hey so im new here and did a lot of searching into doing the cam phaser timing chain tear down. Needless to say there is lots of info on doing the F150 but not a whole lot on the F250. There are a few differences and a few tricks I learned while doing the job. If any one is interested I can make a post of what I did and some of the differences and pics from what I found inside my engine and what my cost was to do the job and time line. K did all the work myself with some help from my dad hand in me tools byits a fairly simple job just time consuming

 

I would think this would be good to post about. I have a 3V 5.4 and may need to know this in the future. As I like to archive things as the search feature can be difficult at times, I say go for it.

 

Definitely. I'm hoping mine last a while longer but I think eventually they will need to be done.
