Where are the Fords?

Went to a state level truck/tractor pull last night. As usual, in the diesel class the Dodges were as plentiful as roaches, 1 Chevy, no Fords. I know the Cummins is a great medium-duty engine, but it would be nice to see the Blue Oval on the track for a change. In our local pull, street trucks, there have only been a handful of Fords there in the last few years. As my son said, I guess the Super Dutys are busy towing everything to the event.

I guess it's probably a regional thing, but around here few Fords are pulling. Funny how I don't want to tear my truck up but don't mind watching others...

i think it is a regional thing... when i went to texas a while ago i saw a whole lotta fords and dodges, but hardly any chevys.. and out of all of them 75% or better had big rancher bumpers on them...

We don't usually see many diesel Fords at the pulls where I live either. The gas class however, is a different story. There is usually a handful of dentside blue ovals out there with a 460 based big block under the hood. More often than not they clean house and lay waste to the bowtie and pentastar.
