My 2014 6.7

Today I bought a 2014 6.7, crew cab, dually, lariat, chrome package, and it's black. What a nice ride. I now belong to the Big Smile Club and how can you not grin with this much freakin power. As some may know I had a 2013 crew cab dually 6.2 and was never happy with the lack of power. So I start this thread to convey my thoughts on this engine and trans. I have been reading your comments on this forum for the last few months and will probably have questions and I will help out where I can.

Congratulations on the new truck. Make sure to read the owners manual and diesel booklet, it could save you some headache and $ on down the road.

There are what five dually owners that have posted on this thread so far. I feel the dually love. Senix I have to get this truck broken in pretty quick because I have to pull the work trailer to the job site in two weeks. Then I have to take the camper in for inspection. First camping trip will be to Knoebels on Memorial Day weekend. Can't wait to pull something with this truck.

I have a question.
How much did it cost you to upgrade in terms of depreciation?
In other words, how much would you have saved if you bought the 6.7 in the first place?
(Not including the simple higher cost of the 6.7 powered truck)
----------------------
I'm thinking of getting the 6.2 and if it doesn't have the power then maybe I'll upgrade to a 6.7 . . .
. . .reason is the greater payload capacity with a lighter weight engine.

Congrats on the new truck. Towing with a 6.7 dually is a very nice experience, really helps to make the trip enjoyable.
Safe travels.
