I hear you man my wife is 5'4". Even with OEM tires she'd still need steps.

Anyone know if factory style nerf bars from 2001 would fit on a 1995? They look to be frame mount style.
I don't want to run into the problem mentioned above about being to close to the cab and be pointless.

99+ running boards bolt to the rockers
97 and older trucks do NOT have structural rockers like the 99+ trucks

I just used some thick rebar, and a HF pipe bender and they turned out great.
