I am getting a 5" exhaust, alot of guys are telling me to stay away from aluminzed pipe. Any of you guys have the aluminized kits such as diamond eye? Im wondering if they rust as bad as im thinking they do, or should i get it and they are good systems.
If you are in the land of salt and freeze thaw, don't, if you are in Cali or Arizona, no problem with aluminized pipe. I am in Canada, we would only ever use stainless, salt, sand, gravel,p even Magnesium and Calcium chloride are used on some bridges and stretches of road up here.

I put a stainless Gibson exhaust on my old truck and it looked like total crap after a month. Complete surface rust. I have an aluminized MBRP on this truck and over a year later and it still would look new if i wiped it off with some simple green...ill never waste the money on stainless again

He said the aluminzed would look better for longer and for a much cheaper price.
There are diff. grades of stainless. When I was in the water industry we had some pump impellars rust and some didn't. The grade of stainless was the diff.
