Around here, the Ecoboost is commanding a hefty premium on the used market.

 

Good feedback - all. Unsure if the OP's intent was to discuss beyond his "decisions" but seems to me others here like me might be pondering similar thoughts on 2014 vs 2015. I posted my own thoughts and prelim order specs here rather than in a new post to keep it on topic, so to speak...

 

A while back I thought I'd be one of the first to jump aboard the 2015 F-150 bandwagon, but now I'm torn between waiting for a 2016 F-150 or a 2016 Taurus SHO and keeping my current truck. Since the 2015 F-150 will be a late release, waiting for a 2016 model (with an 8 or 10-speed tranny) should only be another eight months (or so) longer wait. My other possibility, the next-generation SHO is also rumored to be coming out in MY 2016. Lots of time to reach a decision.

 

I can`t wait to at least test drive one we`ll see about buying ....really anxious to see the specs on the `15 5.0s
