Im not sure, the story i got from the precious owner was that the truck was built from the ground up using the frame and rearend out of the 89 box truck but found out later that the rearend is a stock dually rear so idk...supposedly the original owner owned a junkyard or body shop or something so i feel like he just built it out of what he had, motor has been rebuilt too and its actually turned out to be a pretty good truck

I was thinking wrecked or totaled, a lot had been rebuilt and redone on the truck and the undercarriage is dang near spotless

Here is mine.
Specs:
1994 F-350 XLT CrewCab 7.3L IDI turbo, E40D Auto, 4:11:1 rear Ratio
Traded a 1988 georgie boy Cruise Air II that I had about $2,500 in even for it.
Things I've done to it:
Replaced all 6 tires, new shocks, fully rebuilt front suspension with new polyurethane bushings and new ball joints. New radius arm bushings, and all new steering linkages. Full service with all new filters. new headliner, and upgraded the 2" receiver hitch from a Class III 5000 lb to a Class V 12,000 lb hitch.
Things I'd like to do, or find:
Good used 40-20-40 seat in grey for the front. Drivers front door panel in grey, drivers front power window switch bezel. Repair non-working rear power windows (both sides). Get bed lined with bed coating. find a good used tailgate that has the aluminum trim. Replace the carpet. Get the injector pump rebuilt, and a new set of injectors. Replace the factory downpipe with an aftermarket one. tint the windows, and get a set of visors for them.
Things I'd REALLY love to locate:
A full good set of ground effects like the Centurions came with.
A RazorBack cab fairing
A roof SunVisor (non-lighted)
A good used chrome grill guard w/ headlight bars

It has about 240K miles on it. I'm in Alabama.
She ain't perfect, but I hope to gradually fix her up as I can afford it. I had wanted a CC Dually Diesel in this bodystyle for years. No regrets getting it.

Chrome? Are they Progressive Hurricanes? I'm guessing they're knock offs, didn't think they made chrome, but they do look good. Wish I had them in 16"

U can tell there different parts on it, the tailgate actually has 1994 written on the side when u open it, the back doors have def been painted and werent originally black, the back door panels have also been repainted and have manual windows, the front has auto windows and are black panels not painted and it has a black 97 dash....mechanic said he thought the motor was 95

as for the "97" dash they were the same from 92-97
They truck could very well have been put together(it is 20 years old now) I just don't see why anyone would use s 91 and older frame.
Also, there SHOULD be a partial vin on the passenger top of the frame rail between the front shock mount and front cab mount

Yea thanks for all the info, ive been trying to figure everything out since i got it, ill try to look at frame when i get home in a couple weeks, is there a way to tell what year a rearend is by the axle tag? Or is there any other year specific things i should look for?

i would not until the frame body situation is figured out first. it will lead him in the wrong direction if something has been swapped. on an unmolosted truck, thats a good suggestion, on one that is a 95 but titled as a 88 or 89 whatever it is i would dig deeper if you want any facts
