Which 4" Turbo Back exhaust?

My first choice: MBRP S6210304 "Cool Duals" (Stock Cat), T304 from PerformanceTruckProducts for $1024 shipped.

Alternate: MBRP
S6206304 Single Side Exit (Stock Cat), T304 from same source for $684 shipped.

Primary function of my Early 2003 6.0L, F350 Lariat CC, LB, DRW is pulling a 15k, 38' 5th wheel trailer. I'm looking into mods that will make life better for her (don't need higher performance/HP, etc)

Any opinions on Dual vs. Single --- other manufacturers, or sources ???

(Have ScanGauge II, but so far unable to monitor EGT.)

If you don't have to pass emissions I would get the cat delete pipe. The cat has a lot of restriction. Your system will benefit from removing the cat with lower EGT's. I went with the MBRP 4" Turbo Back, Single, T-409SS (S6126409) and love it. Sounds great and no restriction at all. EGT's are much better now.

cat delete pipe

Is this a separate section of pipe (24" or so) that would occupy the cat position, or a completely different complete exhaust system that specifically ignores the cat??

Both. You can order what you are talking about and just add a cat delete pipe. Or you can order a turbo back kit without the cat. Most like to install the kit with the delete pipe added. That way they can put the cat back in if they ever need to. I just like the way my truck sounds now with the turbo back kit with no kitty. I added an egt guage also. MBRP makes a nice exhaust. You can save a lot of money by going with 409ss instead of 304ss. Stock ford exhaust is 409ss. The 304 will stay shinny, but who sees your exhaust under the truck?

tx for info

I'll probably research a little more, before I pull the trigger on a $500 - $1000 project.

Mainly want to insure I do no harm.
