Stamped Rocker Arms out of order!

Hey everyone. I have a 1976 F100 with a 1978 400cu motor and '78 c6 tran. I was changing the head gaskets and after replacing the head gaskets, I was re-installing the pushrods and rocker arms. I was adjusting the rockers to valves with no dye and had no problems. Everything is torqued down on drivers side. While installing rockers on passenger side, five of the bolts broke in head ( wasn't a big problem- got them all out with no problem by hand.) Well I ordered the new bolts I needed and while I was installing the rockers I keep them in the valve cover in order with the closest one to me so I know where they go back. Well someone came over and knocked the valve cover over and got my rocker arms all out of order. I have been trying to determine using the stamped letters but cannot figure out which rocker needs to go where. I have five of them out of order. The other 3 are already torqued down. I am pretty positive they need to go back exactly where they came off but can't figure it out. Is this true? Will they be ok if I get them on a different pushrod and valve than they where? Is there a way to tell by the stamped numbers? I have tried and tried but I can't find a pattern with the numbers to figure out where they go, even by looking at the drivers side which is completed. Any advise or suggestions are extremely appreciated! Thanks- Jeremy

While it is best to keep everything in order, unlike used lifters, it's not critical that the rocker arms and pushrods go back in the original positions.
The intake and exhaust use the same rocker arm, no difference between them.

Ok, awesome. The pushrods are in the same order and all the same length, so I can just use the rocker arms with whichever valve and pushrod? That is a big relief. My heart dropped when they knocked over.
