My 1997 f-150 seems to be rough in idle ever since i got my catalyic converters replaced. Would anybody know what my problem is and how to fix it?

Well, it might be completely unrelated to what I'm gonna suggest, but the only problem I've ever had with idling was just because the pcv valve tube thing became unhooked. Seems so incredible simple but it's just one of those things you tend to overlook. I say it couldn't hurt to check, but if it isnt that, hopefully someone else would know.

When I see anyone come to this forum with a 97 F150,4.2V6 I send them to this website;
www.leakingfords.com

If your problem is not related to the website,try cleaning your IAC,MAF sensor,replace the pcv.Are the wires and plugs ok?Fuel filter?EGR has alot to do with the cats.Good luck and keep us posted!
